Do you think that LOVE is just...?

-What YOU (personally) believe it to be?

If you believe you love/loved someone, but someone else tells you it was probably just infatuation or lust or just a little kiddy crush, you didn't know them enough, they were too old/young for you, etc. What gives them the right to think they know better than you?

I've been the person who has said it to someone... Now I'm thinking that is kind of ignorant for someone to say!I think - that when it's a two-sided thing, that you feel comfortable around this person, that, you can talk about anything, but at the same time, you can sit there in silence and it's not awkward. But also that, there's a spark - that there's some kind of chemistry between you. A mutual attraction.

It's kind of hard to say. There are many times when I thought that I was in love with someone...but it was just a crush (either a minor one or a big one). Another person can't really tell - but you probably can. I thought I liked one of my friends recently, I like being around him, I get along with him, and I really thought I liked him. But recently, around the beginning of the holidays, he got a girlfriend. And I realised that - I didn't like him. Because, if I did, there would have been a part of me that was disappointed, but there wasn't. I didn't feel anything like that, so I probably didn't like him, except just as a friend. The feeling "love" produces the chemical dopamine into the brain. It is merely a scientific, physical reaction. I suppose anyone could think they fell in love, but the only way to tell is through testing for dopamine.... Cocaine also releases dopamine, though, so it could be compared by someone who uses it, I suppose (not a great idea, obviously)!

Telling someone they aren't in love, even if likely they aren't, is ignorant unless you ran the tests!
I would have to agree, if someone tried to tell me I wasn't in love I think I'd smack them in the face.
Love is a deep commitment
the meaning of life (:
